Dental Practice Accreditation

Accreditation is a voluntary quality-assurance process in which a dental practice is independently assessed against nationally recognised safety and quality standards. Private dental practices are now assessed against the National Safety and Quality Primary and Community Healthcare Standards, which address clinical governance, partnering with consumers and clinical safety.
Sydney Endodontic Centre is fully accredited against the National Safety and Quality Primary and Community Healthcare Standards. Accreditation involves independent assessment of whether relevant systems and processes are in place to support clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement.
Accreditation reflects our commitment to maintaining and continually improving the systems and processes that support safe, high-quality care. This includes ongoing review of clinical governance, patient-safety practices, staff education and training, infection prevention and control, and communication with patients.
